Integrity Guide

Financial auditing guidance for financial data integrity

A compact map of principles we teach — use it to brief stakeholders before choosing a course.

What integrity means here

Financial data integrity is the confidence that figures used in decisions and disclosures are complete, accurate, timely, and traceable to authorized sources. Auditing guidance turns that confidence into procedures: who checks, what evidence, how often, and what happens when checks fail.

In Korea’s reporting environment, integrity work sits between ERP operations, shared-services closes, and statutory or internal review. Gaps usually appear at handoffs — not inside a single elegant dashboard.

Five standing checkpoints

01

Source authority

Name the system of record for each material flow.

02

Extract fidelity

Prove the file matches the query you claim you ran.

03

Transformation clarity

Document every bridge, mapping, and manual paste.

04

Exception ownership

Assign residuals to people with deadlines, not folders.

05

Re-performance

Another reviewer should reach the same conclusion from your pack.
